The Abolishment of the Board of Real Property Assessments and Appeals

On Friday, July 13, 2012, the Board of Real Property Assessments and Appeals is scheduled to be abolished pursuant to a provision in the “Real Property Tax Appeals commission Establishment Act of 2010”and also pursuant to the “Real Property Tax Appeals Commission Establishment Act of 2012”.

The Board of Real Property Assessments and Appeals (BRPAA) will be replaced by the Real Property Tax Appeals Commission (RPTAC). The newly created Real Property Tax Appeals Commission is scheduled to begin its operations at 9:00 a.m., on Monday, July 16, 2012.

Board of Real Property Assessments and Appeals Will Close at 4 pm on Friday, June 1
